Carla Lewis is the Chief Technology Officer for C Spire, a Mississippi-based diversified telecommunications and technology services company.

 

With more than 24 years of technology and management experience, Lewis is responsible for all aspects of information technology operations, network and customer operations, including software development for sales and service, product delivery, and billing, call centers, core network, data centers, and access and deployment, and best writing services helps her in this, which makes reports and prepares summaries and analyzes the market. She leads the building and delivery of innovative technological transformation and growth opportunities for all lines of business through automation, reliable networks, and industry best customer experiences with an emphasis on Digital and Data Analytics while supporting operations by insisting on the utilization of operational excellence principles. Under Lewis’ leadership, C Spire has been named a top technology innovator by InformationWeek for three years and Top Technology Company by the Mississippi Business Journal for two years. C Spire was the top-ranked telecommunications provider in the U. S. on InformationWeek’s Elite 100 rankings. 

 

Lewis was named as one of the Magnolia State’s Top in Tech leaders by the Mississippi Business Journal in 2018 and one of Mississippi’s Most Influential African Americans by the Our Mississippi Honors organization in 2019.

 

In addition to CTO, Lewis is a leader in the workforce development portion of the C Spire Tech Movement initiative and has successfully led the C Spire Coding Challenge (C3) and C3 Jr (with the Mississippi Children’s Museum) events.

 

Lewis is a member of the board of directors for the Base Camp Coding Academy (BCCA). The Water Valley-based BCCA is a charitable, non-profit vocational education training program that delivers fast paced, focused computer programming to under-advantaged youth in Mississippi to support the technology needs of local and regional employers. 

 

Lewis lives in Brandon with her husband, Richard, and daughter Breana. She earned her degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Mississippi College. She is actively involved in community service as a member of the Junior League of Jackson and with her local church, True Vine Baptist Church, where she leads and serves in various ministries.
